I'm part of CA Chins, a non profit organization dedicated to the study of chinchillas as well as educating people about owning chinchillas as pets.  They are dedicated to furthering research in an effort to assist veteranarians and pet owners in gaining a better understanding of the needs and ways of the chinchilla.

They are mainly based in Bay Area, California.  But occassionally get a few surrenders in the Sacramento area.  So I try to help out and do my part.  I have picked up and fostered numerous rescues for CA Chins. 

In addition to being part of the CA Chins, I'm also listed on several other rescue sites.  And although I deal mostly with chinchillas, I have never turned away any animal for any reason.  I have taken in rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even some other exotic animals.
